John Alexander is a puppeteer and animal movement expert who is best known for performing as a gorilla in many films.
He has performed as the eponymous gorilla in "Mighty Joe Young," Jambo the Gorilla in "Fierce Creatures," and as gorillas in "Baby's Day Out," "Gorillas in the Mist: The Story of Dian Fossey," and "Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes."
He has also played non-gorilla roles, such as Johann Krauss in "Hellboy II: The Golden Army" and as the robot in "Zathuru: A Space Adventure."
