Bell Biv DeVoe was formed by New Edition's Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, and Ronnie DeVoe.They collaborated with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis to form Bell Biv DeVoe. The song-style was different from their New Edition days, it was more edgier, had a taste of hip-hop and funk.The album,"Poison," produced 3 hits,"Do Me!","Poison","B.B.D. (I Thought it Was Me)," "When Will I See You Smile Again?," and "Dope!" They sold 3 million copies.
