The Station French Italian Cuisine

It is good news for the folks in the West San Fernando Valley, they are getting an upscale restaurant with delicious French/Italian cuisine dedicated to the flavors of Tuscany and France -- and the wines that go with them. The roar of a train rushing by on rails adjacent to its right exterior wall can quickly bring realization why this new restaurant in Chatsworth was named "The Station". Spacious and warm, the restaurant boasts lovely indoor seating as well as a garden patio and caters to both informal and formal dining. After being seated, guests are greeted with good breads and rolls and an olive tapenad. Pastas of note include a pumpkin tortelloni dish in a buttery sage and Parmesan sauce and cream-sauced fusilli Contadina with grilled chicken, broccoli and sun-dried tomatoes. One of the Station's best entrees is the sliced breast of duck provencal presented in a rich port wine and cranberry sauce.
