Panic! At The Disco: The Las Vegas bandmates were only in their teens when they signed to Pete Wentz's Decaydance label in 2004. In fact, some of the band members were actually still in high school when they left Sin City to record their debut album, subsequently introducing the world to their eclectic mix of rock and emo. The Panic! at the Disco concert schedule 2011 has the band playing more than seventy shows throughout the spring and summer at venues right across North America and Europe.

The boys inked the deal with Wentz after submitting a two song demo. At that point the band had never even played a live show! Wentz saw immense talent and creativity in those two songs and drove out to Vegas to meet with the high school kids. Wentz, whose band, Fallout Boy, was riding a wave of commercial success, promoted his newly signed band everywhere he went and shipped the boys out to Maryland to record their debut album. Recorded over five weeks, what became known as A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, was released in 2005, debuting at a mediocre #112 on the Billboard 200. However, the release of Panic! At the Disco's smash hit breakout single, "I Write Sins Not Tragedies," which peaked at #7 on the Billboard Hot 100, sparked mass interest in the album. Eventually, the record began to rise up the charts and was eventually certified platinum by the RIAA. Panic! At the Disco's creative lyrics and fresh style, transcended into their music videos which soon became staples on MTV. The single, "I Write Sins, Not Tragedies," went on to win Video of the Year at the 2006 MTV VIdeo Music Awards. That same year, Panic! at the Disco tour dates were booked at the Reading Festival and the band headlined the "Nothing Rhymes with Circus Tour." The journey from high school students to rockstars was complete.

The rise to fame wasn't easy on the band who went through lineup changes and even scrapped material from their sophomore album in order to start fresh with a different approach towards their lyrical content. By 2008, Panic! At the Disco was ready to get their sophomore set out to the public. They released, Pretty. Odd. in March and the album debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200, selling 139,000 copies in its maiden week. In support of the album, Panic! at the Disco tour dates were booked as the headlining act on the 2008 Honda Civic Tour where they toured with Dashboard Confessional. The band continued to produce artistic and visually creative videos to compliment their new sound, and this time they were lauded by even the toughest of alt-rock music critics.

The following year, the band went through more lineup changes, ultimately downsizing to a duo with Spencer Smith on guitar and Brendon Urie as vocalist. In 2009, Panic! at the Disco toured with Blink 182, and entered the studio in 2010 to record their follow-up. Vices and Virtues, was finally released On March 22, 2011, debuting at # 7 on the Billboard 200. The first single, "The Ballad of Mona Lisa," was accompanied by a video in heavy rotation on MTV - proving this band's stickability.
