Gardena Cinema

Gardena Cinema was built in 1947 and is an old-fashioned single screen movie theater with a seating capacity of 800. The large screen is over 35 feet wide. There is also a state-of-the-art Dolby Digital©; surround sound system to enhance the original theater atmosphere.

Gardena Cinema is the only old-fashioned single screen movie theater in the South Bay area that shows first-run Hollywood movies. Gardena Cinema is a family-operated establishment. Since 1995, the Gardena Cinema has been showing mainstream Hollywood movies. As one patron puts it, "It's too bad that there aren't anymore theaters like the Gardena Cinema."
